According to her blog, Tanaka Rie has moved from Dramatic Department to リトリート (Retreat?). i searched "リトリート" on yahoo and the first hit was some landscaping company. Basically i couldn't find anything on it. Actually Dramatic Department's website hasn't been updated in 3 years either.
Rie commented that she's been with Dramatic since her debut 10 years ago, and although she'll be feeling very lonely, she'll "頑張って行きます！(Ganbatte ikimasu!)". She thanks her former boss and manager for their care, although i wonder how much of that is just Japanese politeness. =p Her manager did come to her rescue the last time her umbrella got wrecked so i guess that's something to be grateful for, haha. I suppose anyone would at least feel something if he had to move on from a place he's belonged to for the past 10 years. Kind of like graduation, i guess.
Her fanclub activities will continue as usual, though it makes no difference to me. =(
Her website has been updated with a more recent photo (the one above). She looks so much better with short hair.
p.s. HnG 50 is out. Poor Kagamisumi...
